MASTERPIECE Studio Podcast | Miss Scarlet and The Duke, Season 4: Stuart Martin Says Goodbye
Get the Duke back!
It's too bad that Laurence Fox turned out to be such a nut because I did like him in this and Victoria..
Where is DUKE!!!!???? I'm not going to see the show without the duke !!!absolutely not😠
Then, do the courtesy of not spamming if you are not going to watch the show any longer. You most likely will watch anyways.
I can safely say for myself that Patrick Nash still reigns as the hearthrob on the show. This new guy ain't so, he'll do for a lot of fun and such otherwise, keeping Eliza on her toes. I wonder what special gifts they sought for a replacement for the Duke. Well, this Tom is also a director. Felix Scott and Kate Phillips are praised for bringing far more into the show than the scripts they were given. Now they have an actor who's also a director. Sounds like a loaded bargain and we shall see. I adore Kate and Felix most of all.
Bonjour je souhaite de nouveaux épisodes svp
This Diversity nonsense has gone too far

Such an intelligent actor.
"McNut maybe, McNut's good" Wow what a reference to Morse, Masonic Mysteries.
Wow
Can't wait for the new series, new vicar looks fab! Disappointed, but let's face it not unexpected, to see some of the comments. Clearly a lot of ignorance about the history of Britain and the commonwealth. A South Asian vicar is entirely fitting with this time period and, judging by the trailer, the actor clearly got the role on merit.
Tom seems like a nice chap and good to have a fresh face, but if Eliza and Nash aren't end game, I don't want to know (though will obvs keep watching in the vain hope 😄). Fab show!
I loved Alice & Jack, found it to be a thought provoking and emotional story. Even after nearly a week since I finished watching I can’t stop thinking about it.
I will really miss The Duke also. Sorry he left the show.
Gonna miss the Duke. Won't be the same.
I'm totally done with this show, but I wish you well.
Yea!
If we cant have the Duke back... can you at least start a show with his adventures in America and maybe Liza can come to America on a case that they both end up working on...
It's funny how the creators thought we watched the show for Miss Scarlet....
Shaun Evans ❤❤❤ 1:47
Shaun Evans adorable love love ❤❤❤ 1:25
Love Shaun Evans ❤ 0:30
I'm so ready for season 5..😊❤
I am totally hooked on this show, l watch it faithful. I will miss the Duke. He and Scarlett had chemistry . They were so great together. I wish the new man Tom the very best.🎉🎉🎉
I’m going to give it a try. I’m excited to see the new direction, but my heart belonged to William.
I am very excited for the new season! I will miss Stuart Martin, but I love this show and will continue to watch it.
Kate is so wonderfully cheeky! 😊
Saddened we did not get the ending we wanted with the duke.
The only problem with the music in the background is that it actually makes it quite hard to hear what the characters are saying.
I will really miss "the Duke."
Thank you Mr Evans, the integrity, sincerity, truthfulness of Morse is internalised in you. Judy 🤗🙏🌼
Anton Lesser and Roger Allam, great on stage too, I saw them in England: Anton was a great Romeo in black leather. Marvellous actors. Judy 🤗🙏🌼
En français svp
The way she said to her sister-in-law: "At least my husband loves me!" That must've hurt Jane Rochford knowing that she was such a vain and vile woman her inlaws couldn't stand her presence. Jane already knew that the Boleyn family only wanted her to marry George Boleyn for the sake of connection to the King's inner circle. In that era: You had hope that your partner chosen by your parents could grow to love you, but chances are you can only get bitter fights. It shows like in Tudor shows or like the movie The Other Boleyn Girl, we see Jane Rochford wants her husband's affection and gets easily jealous when he gives attention to courtiers, his sisters, especially Anne. But never her. Never even in private whom he claims he doesn't want to go back to that woman's chambers. Perhaps, we will never know her real intentions for betraying the Boleyn family for whatever reason Jane had to betray Anne and the Boleyn family. Some it was payback for it said George Boleyn had both female and male partners in bed instead of hers. Anne Boleyn historian said Jane was incredibly jealous of her being more educational and capturing the King's eye.
Love this series! ❤
What are the names of the actress and actor who plays young Eliza and William? I am from Brazil and have not found anything about them!
Ummm, I didn’t know it was possible for the vicar to get even better looking 👀 😏
Шикарный фильм!❤
Anyone else absolutely in love with Gerald? He is the most adorable human. Haven’t see season 4 yet but so happy he and Mrs Hall finally got together at Christmas. And him waiting outside the concert with a bouquet of flowers then hiding them behind his back 😢
I spoke recently with a citizen of Scotland about how upset I felt after the second installment of this series. He gave me some insight to the public reaction. I say God bless all those who, in good faith, worked as sub-postmasters and were treated abominably by the post office upper echelon. They will never regain their lost years.
Ne parlant pas anglais celà m est difficile de comprendre ! !!dommage
Can't stand this character. She was just as vile as George.
From Sami in Hollyoaks to Reverend Alphy, way to go Rishi👏🏼👏🏼
I loved this series on PBS. A great interview.
True love never fits a mold.
Excellent show. Even living in another nation I get so frustrated at political/institutional bureaucracy and hubris, all down to the excellent acting, script and editing of this production.
I found Alice to be a selfish woman. If she couldn't have him beither could anyone else, yet she floats in and out of his life. Found the ending a little farfetched.
She was a narcissist...he was co dependent....still couldn t understand why they just didn t be together...very frustrating ...ugh
Shame on the post office & government that let this go on for over 20 yrs. Well done ITV for telling the story that at last got things moving.
I don’t trust Alice.
